We are looking for a skilled Perl Developer with strong expertise in Perl development and a good understanding of Python and T-SQL/SQL Server.
The role primarily involves application code conversion for compatibility between Sybase and MS SQL. A significant portion of the existing codebase is in Perl, and in some cases, the code may be converted to Python for long-term sustainability. Where conversion is not feasible, compatible Perl code will need to be developed.
The ideal candidate should also be familiar with ADO, Git, and release management practices. Experience in monitoring, alerting, and automation tools will be considered an added advantage.
