Hiring Functional Test Engineers for our leading Investment Banking Client

Location: Chennai

Experience: 5+ Years

Notice Period: Immediate-30Days(If Serving)

Work Mode: Hybrid (10 days in a month)

Mandatory Skills:

• Functional tests, Non-Functional Requirements, Security, Performance, Robustness, Middleware testing (Batch processing, REST APIs)
• • Expert in various testing techniques, and achieving maximum automation for non-regression tests
• Knowledge in UFT, Selenium, PostMan, etc
• ALM, JIRA, Service Now

• Mandatory (Testing Skills):• 5-8 years of relevant experience in software testing with experience in Wealth Management banking domain.• Proficient in test life cycle.o Manual Functional testing with various techniqueso Integration testing with other systemso System Integration testingo End to End testing• Hands-on experience in writing test cases for complex projects, test data preparation and test execution.• Hands-on experience in writing test cases using technical specification documents.• Test cases optimization to achieve coverage and quality.• Proficient in using Quality Center/ HP- ALM and JIRA• Coordination with various teams on testing activities (understanding application/domain/requirements, test cases writing, execution and defects).• Communication skills:o Good oral & written skills.o Report promptly (oral and written).• Reporting to test manager on the test activities progress and data gathering to generate metrics.• A good team player with problem-solving attitude.• Analytical and precise: Capacity to challenge the team and convince based on facts.

• Mandatory (Functional Skills):• Knowledge on Financial Instruments:o Different types of KPIs(i.e. loans/deposits/fx/securities/etc)o Referential datao Prices, Ratings, Exchange rates, Money Market rateso Underlying assets, Indices and revenues.Mandatory (Technical Skills):• Hands on experience on writing queries using PLSQL developer (or equivalent) for ORACLE.• Hands on experience in using BI4 (Business Intelligence) .• Experience on using Unix/Linux and Windows basic commands.Nice to have:• Experience/knowledge of the Test Automation, e.g. running automated test scripts using selenium & Rest API automation via Postman.Specific Qualifications (if required)• Knowledge on Wealth Management Products (i.e. loans/deposits/fx/securities/etc).• Experience on writing SQL queries• Knowledge on Financial Instruments.• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing in Banking domain.
