Job Summary:

The Post-Closing / Title Specialist is responsible for reviewing, preparing, and ensuring the accuracy of all documents related to real estate transactions, including pre-closing, closing, and post-closing packages. The role involves performing title reviews, title searches, and coordinating title insurance to ensure compliance with lender and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review pre-closing and closing documents for completeness and accuracy.
  
• Conduct and analyze title searches to identify liens, judgments, or ownership issues.
  
• Prepare and issue title commitments, policies, and endorsements.
  
• Ensure all closing documents are properly signed, notarized, and recorded.
  
• Review post-closing files to confirm that all required documents are received and compliant.
  
• Coordinate with lenders, underwriters, escrow officers, and attorneys to resolve any title or document discrepancies.
  
• Manage delivery and tracking of final title policies and recorded documents.
  
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems with document and transaction status.
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
  
• 1-3 years of experience in mortgage, title, closing, Post closing, Pre closing operations.
  
• Knowledge of title insurance, real estate documents, and post-closing procedures.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
  
• Excellent communication and time management abilities.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office and title/mortgage software systems (e.g., SoftPro, ResWare, Encompass, etc.).
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with lenders and title underwriters.
  
• Familiarity with state and federal compliance requirements.
  
• Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment.
