Job Title: Liferay 7.4 Developer Location: Remote/Hybrid Job Type: Full Time Salary: 7 Lacs 10 Lacs range Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Liferay 7.4 Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining enterprise portals using Liferay DXP 7.4 . You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable portal solutions tailored to business needs. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web applications and portals using Liferay 7.4 DXP . Customize Liferay themes, portlets (JSR 286), and hooks as per project requirements. Develop and integrate Liferay modules using OSGi framework . Implement workflows, web content structures, and dynamic data lists in Liferay. Work with REST and SOAP web services for integration with third-party systems. Create and manage roles, permissions, user groups, and site templates. Perform unit testing, code reviews, and deployment activities. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers for a seamless integration. Stay up to date with Liferay product updates, best practices, and industry trends. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Liferay DXP , specifically version 7.4. Strong proficiency in Java, JSP, Servlets, and Spring framework . Good understanding of OSGi module development . Experience with Liferay Service Builder and Ext plugins . Hands-on with Liferay permissions, asset framework, and content management features. Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and React/Vue (preferred) . Familiarity with Maven/Gradle , Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Liferay Developer Certification is a plus. Experience with Liferay Cloud or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP . Prior experience with multi-tenant Liferay implementations .
