Job Description

Job Title:

Job Overview:

Fraud Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and review high-risk transactions for signs of fraudulent activity.
Investigate and analyze fraud alerts, chargebacks, and suspicious patterns in online transactions.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Customer Support, Operations, and Legal) to resolve fraud-related issues.
Document and report fraud cases and ensure compliance with internal policies and legal regulations.
Implement fraud prevention strategies and tools to protect against emerging fraud trends.
Maintain knowledge of the latest fraud trends and techniques in e-commerce.
Work with third-party vendors to strengthen fraud detection systems.
Provide recommendations for improvements in fraud detection and prevention procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1-3 years of experience in fraud analysis, e-commerce, or financial services.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with fraud detection software and chargeback processes.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of payment systems, risk management, and anti-fraud practices is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with e-commerce platforms or payment gateways.
Knowledge of tools like Kount, Signifyd, or other fraud prevention technologies.
Understanding of data analysis and reporting tools.
