Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Interline Billing & Settlement

    Process outgoing and incoming interline billings / debit-credit memos with other airlines. Evaluate for correctness, authenticity, and contractual compliance. Handle rejections and rebills. Apna+2Apna+2
  • Sample & NonSample Procedures

    Handle interline documents using sample and nonsample procedures. For sample, evaluate a percentage of passenger or cargo coupons as per sample percentage. Apna+1
  • Reconciliation & Audit

    Reconcile interline statements / invoices from partner airlines with internal systems. Identify discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, initiate correspondence to resolve issues. Support audits. Startup Jobs+2Apna+2
  • Correspondence & Dispute Management

    Liaise with partner airlines, internal teams (finance, contracts), agents to manage disputes, rejections, missing documents, followups until resolution. Apna+2Apna+2
  • Master Data & Contract / SPA Management

    Maintain knowledge & management of proration agreements, special prorate agreements (SPA), airline contract terms. Ensure master data (like partner airline codes, billing terms etc.) is current and correct. Apna+1
  • Reporting / MIS & SLAs

    Monitor KPIs (turnaround time, aging of interline invoices, rejection rates etc.). Prepare management reports and MIS dashboards. Ensure adherence to SLAs. Startup Jobs+1
  • Process Improvement & Controls

    Identify inefficiencies, implement process improvements, ensure controls are strong to reduce errors / rejections, improve timeliness / accuracy. Startup Jobs+1

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 15 years of relevant experience in airline revenue accounting / interline accounting. foundit+2Apna+2
  • Good understanding of interline billing procedures (sample / nonsample), IATA rules, SPAs, proration concepts. Apna+1
  • Strong skills in MS Excel (data manipulation, reconciliations)
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills (verbal + written) for correspondence with airlines, internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work under deadlines / manage multiple tasks
