Job Description

Job Title: Accountant with Accounting Software Expertise

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Accountant proficient in accounting principles with hands-on

expertise in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and advanced Excel skills. The candidate will

support the finance team in managing accounts, preparing accurate financial statements,

maintaining compliance, and streamlining processes using these accounting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable and

receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and

reports.

• Manage bookkeeping and accounting processes using Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho

Books.

• Use advanced Excel functions for data analysis, financial modelling, and reporting.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

• Assist with audits and coordinate with auditors as needed.

• Support payroll processing and other financial tasks as assigned.

• Identify and implement process improvements for accounting operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in accounting roles.

• Proficient in Tally ERP, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books software.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros,

and complex formulas.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger management.

• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Knowledge of statutory compliance and tax filing is an added advantage.
