Job Description

Data Pipeline Engineer Cyber Data Platform

Location:

About the Role

Design, build and maintain large-scale, real-time
data pipelines
for cyber-security events.
Stream data to
Elasticsearch
,
Splunk
and other downstream platforms.
Work closely with global
Cyber Security / Incident Response / Threat Investigation
teams.
Ensure reliability, scalability and high performance across
cloud
and
on-prem
environments.

Key Responsibilities

Build, deploy and manage dataflow tools:
Cribl, Logstash, Apache NiFi
.
Integrate diverse data sources from
AWS / Azure / GCP
and on-prem systems.
Design and implement
data mapping, transformation & routing
processes.
Automate workflows using
Python, Ansible, Git, Jenkins
and CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor pipeline health and performance; lead complex troubleshooting.
Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.

Must-Have Skills

5+ years in
Data Pipeline / ETL / Data Engineering
roles.
Strong hands-on with
Cribl / Logstash / Apache NiFi
.
Cloud integration experience (
AWS, Azure, GCP
).
Linux/Unix administration
, Networking, HTTP, encryption.
Expertise in
Regular Expressions
, field extraction & data parsing.
Knowledge of
DevOps tools
: Git, Jenkins, Jira.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have

Experience with
Apache Kafka / AWS Kinesis / Google Pub/Sub / MQ
.
Infrastructure automation
using Python and Ansible.
Familiarity with
cybersecurity event types
and
Elastic Common Schema (ECS)
.
Exposure to
Agile/Kanban
delivery methods.
