Position Overview

As an FP&A & Accounts Executive, you will play a dual role leading the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes, while also ensuring accurate accounting, compliance, and financial reporting. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial principles and accounting standards. You will work closely with both operational and leadership teams to support strategic decision-making and maintain financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

- Analyse financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, to identify trends and areas for improvement.

- Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual performance and budget/forecast.

Budgeting & Forecasting

- Collaborate with department heads to develop departmental budgets and forecasts.

- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

- Continuously improve the budgeting and forecasting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Financial Modelling

- Build and maintain financial models to support long-term financial planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making.

- Evaluate the financial impact of various strategic initiatives, investments, and business decisions.

- Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the potential impact of changes in key assumptions.

Accounting & Compliance

- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and statutory filings (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).

- Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of internal and statutory audits.

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Work closely with finance, accounting, and other departments to ensure alignment between financial plans and operational activities.

- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide analytical support.

Qualifications

- CA Semi Qualified or MBA or CMA Qualified

- Proficiency in financial modelling tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau)

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Team player with a collaborative attitude and willingness to support colleagues across departments.
