Hindi Language Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

·      Translate and edit a variety of content, including user interface and longform text.

·      Perform testing of the translated products to identify linguistic and functional issues.

·      Perform terminology and style guide updates.

·      Provide linguistic and cultural expertise in various localization projects.

·      Provide linguistic support and guidance to vendor translation teams.

Skills / Minimum Qualifications:

·      100% native fluency in Hindi and near-native fluency in English.

·      Minimum 3 years of experience in web and app translation from English to Hindi & vice versa.

·      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

·      Familiarity with relevant culture and trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Communications or similar is desirable.

·      Experience in the social media and mobile space is a plus.

·      Familiarity with computer aided translation tools is desirable.
