As a Hindi Educator at Riverdale World School in Raipur, you will be part of a newly launched IB World School offering a world-class education that focuses on the intellectual, emotional, and social growth of students. Your role will involve leading the Primary Years Program (PYP) in alignment with IB standards, working collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment for children aged 3-12. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between the school, the IB organization, and the broader educational community. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of the PYP curriculum, ensuring alignment with IB principles and the school's mission. You will collaborate with PYP teachers to develop transdisciplinary units of inquiry that promote critical thinking and student engagement. Emphasizing inquiry-based learning, you will encourage student-led investigation, reflection, and action while ensuring curriculum goals align with assessment standards and IB guidelines. Furthermore, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to the PYP teaching team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among educators. Supporting teachers in assessment processes and student learning, you will monitor student progress through various assessments, including PYP exhibitions and portfolios. Your role will also involve engaging parents to support student development, organizing workshops and events to promote understanding of the PYP framework. To maintain the school's PYP authorization status, you will stay updated on IB updates, policies, and best practices, ensuring compliance with IB requirements. Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to the school's strategic plans and educational goals, participating in school events and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Education, preferably with a specialization in Primary Education, along with IB PYP teaching experience and a PYP coordinator certification. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as well as proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.
