With over 20,000 of the best people working on a diverse range of challenges, we are helping our clients deliver sustainable infrastructure and development solutions We have a collegiate and collaborative culture that values equality and diversity, and we take proactive steps to create an inclusive workplace Our teams take an active part in international infrastructure projects, specializing inbridges, highways, geotechnics, railways, environment, tunnels, and foundations Job LocationNoida/Bangalore We are seeking an Highways Engineer to join our team and take a role in the delivery of highway and drainage projects Candi should have good knowledge of highway design, active travel scheme design, highway drainage design, and should be able to apply the latest technology in the market The scale of our projects ranges from small and bespoke design commissions through to some of the most significant infrastructure projects within the UK and worldwide Responsibilitiesplete assigned tasks in accordance with quality, timescales, and budgeted hours Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives to develop design solutions that meet client requirements and regulatory standardsply with industry standards and safety regulations Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Mott MacDonald's quality standard procedures Foster a culture of right first-time delivery and work with Project Managers/Principals to ensure effective project delivery Maintaining up-to- knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and new technologies Should proactively seek personal and professional development opportunities Candi pecification We are looking for a flexible and motivated professional with a genuine passion and a desire to make a difference in the world Qualification Degree qualified in civil engineering (BE/BTECH /ME/M Tech ) Essential Skills And Experience Experience and a commitment to effective management of Health, Safety, and Welfare, Safety by Design Minimum 4+ years of experience in drainage and road design projects All-round experience in surface and foul water drainage design Relevant experience in car park layout design, private street design, and active travel scheme projects Experience in utilities coordination, management of teams, and working with contractors Collaborate effectively with the team members and stakeholders Should have a deep understanding of drainage and highway design principles and practices, including knowledge of design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Info-Drainage An excellent understanding of relevant standards (eg the DMRB, Local Highway Authority standards) General IT software skills, such as, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and ProjectWise Strong interpersonal skills supporting collaborative working with colleagues Desirable Competencies/skills Membership of related professional organisations Experience of working with cross cultural teams Job Profile As an Assistant Highway Engineer/Highway Engineer, you will work alongside experienced professionals within multi-disciplinary teams and will gain experience of using industry standard toolsets on a range of challenging and dynamic projects You need to be able to build and maintain strong relationships with both your colleagues and external clients through excellent verbal and written communication skills Flexible working At Mott MacDonald, we support our staff to create work-life balance which works for them and welcome candi looking for career flexibility We are open to discussing flexible working at interview stage Our Benefits Package Is Designed To Enhance Your Experience Agile working Critical illness and compassionate leave Paternity Leave Group term life insurance, and Group medical insurance coverage Career mobility options Short and Long-term global employment opportunities Global collaboration and knowledge sharing Location(s): Noida, UP, IN Bengaluru, KA, IN Contract Type: Permanent Work Pattern: Full Time Market: Transport Discipline: Highways Job Ref: 12622 Recruiter Contact: Naveen Gill
