• Planning & Design:

  Analyzes traffic patterns, determines optimal routes, and designs new road layouts and modifications, including the number of lanes and intersections.

• Construction & Maintenance:

  Oversees the construction of new highways and roads, and manages ongoing maintenance and improvement projects.

• Safety & Efficiency:

  Implements strategies to ensure safe, efficient, and accessible transportation for people and goods.

• Infrastructure Management:

  Ensures that road networks and related structures like bridges and tunnels are maintained for long-term functionality.

• Problem Solving:

  Finds new solutions to traffic and transportation issues, such as designing roads to withstand environmental conditions.

Structural Engineer: Role and Responsibilities

• Design & Analysis:

  Designs the load-bearing components of structures, such as foundations, walls, and roofs, and analyzes them to withstand forces from traffic, wind, and other environmental factors.

• Safety & Durability:

  Ensures that structures are safe, durable, and able to handle expected loads.

• Project Oversight:

  Supervises construction to ensure it aligns with design specifications and maintains structural integrity.

• Assessment & Remediation:

  Conducts safety assessments of existing structures, identifying weaknesses and recommending repairs or modifications.

• Technical Documentation:
