Construction & Maintenance: Oversees the construction of new highways and roads, and manages ongoing maintenance and improvement projects. Safety & Efficiency: Implements strategies to ensure safe, efficient, and accessible transportation for people and goods. Infrastructure Management: Ensures that road networks and related structures like bridges and tunnels are maintained for long-term functionality. Problem Solving: Finds new solutions to traffic and transportation issues, such as designing roads to withstand environmental conditions. Structural Engineer: Role and Responsibilities Design & Analysis: Designs the load-bearing components of structures, such as foundations, walls, and roofs, and analyzes them to withstand forces from traffic, wind, and other environmental factors. Safety & Durability: Ensures that structures are safe, durable, and able to handle expected loads. Project Oversight: Supervises construction to ensure it aligns with design specifications and maintains structural integrity.
