Highway Engineer

Job Description: Highway Engineer (Fresher: B.Tech in Civil)

• Prospective employee must be a Graduate, B. tech in Civil Engineering.
• Review the geometric design including alignment, profile, cross-sections, super elevation, and sight distances for compliance with IRC standards.
• Check the smoothness and continuity of horizontal and vertical curves to ensure driving comfort and safety.
• Ensure subgrade strength, layer thickness, and material properties are adequate for design traffic and pavement life.
• Review drainage plans and hydraulic designs to confirm efficient surface and subsurface water disposal.
• Check side drains, culverts, and cross-drainage structures for adequate capacity and erosion protection.
• Review miscellaneous drawings such as metal and RCC crash barriers, slope protection works, and pedestrian guard rails.
• Verify that all safety appurtenances, signage, and road furniture comply with relevant IRC and MoRT&H standards.
• Co-ordination with contractors/ concessionaire regarding design drawings of highway.
• Co-ordination with clients like NHAI, MoRT&H etc. and in addition to that candidate must have good communication skills for effectively presenting the work.
• The candidate will be required to visit project site as per requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
