Help Desk Support Engineer

As part of the IT team in Trivandrum, Kerala, India, you will be working during US shift hours on the Tier I Help Desk. Your responsibilities will include: - Working collaboratively with the helpdesk team to address software and hardware issues for employees via phone, in person, or through an enterprise ticketing system. - Handling technical support calls and emails, tracking issues to resolution using an enterprise help desk system. - Performing tasks such as setting up user accounts, resetting passwords, troubleshooting PCs, mobile devices, printers, phones, and other devices. - Documenting, monitoring, and resolving problems in a timely manner. - Providing hands-on or virtual training to users and creating troubleshooting guides as needed. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Strong customer service, troubleshooting, and organizational skills. - Effective written and verbal communication skills to provide clear instructions and documentation. - Experience supporting the Office Suite of Applications and basic network support. - Ability to ask detailed questions, deliver excellent customer service, and manage multiple requests simultaneously. - Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and teamwork skills. - Proactive attitude and self-starter mindset. Qualifications required: - 3+ years of IT Support experience. - Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. - Strong problem-solving and research skills. - Excellent customer service and communication skills.
