Heavy Vehicle Driver

Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate an Electric Passenger Bus on assigned routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip checks of the vehicle including battery level, brakes, lights, tyres, and dashboard alerts. Pick up and drop passengers at scheduled stops in a timely manner. Maintain smooth and comfortable driving, avoiding harsh acceleration and braking. Monitor EV systems including: Battery state of charge Regenerative braking Charging requirements Ensure daily charging schedules are followed and coordinate with the depot charging team. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene inside the vehicle. Record daily travel logs, kilometres, charging hours, and incidents. Follow RTO rules, transport laws, and company driving policies. Report any mechanical, electrical, or EV system issues immediately to maintenance. Maintain a polite, professional attitude with passengers and supervisors. Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum 10th standard / SSLC or equivalent. Valid Heavy Vehicle / Transport Driving License (Batch endorsement). Prior experience in driving passenger buses (EV experience preferred but not mandatory). Knowledge of traffic rules, city routes, and GPS navigation. Ability to read vehicle dashboard warnings and EV indicators. Basic knowledge of EV charging process and safe electrical handling (training will be provided).
