Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Receptionist cum Billing Specialist to join our team at Kozhikode. This role requires proficiency in managing the reception desk efficiently and a strong background in billing processes within a healthcare setting. The successful candidate will also bring call center experience to ensure exceptional patient interactions and customer service.

Responsibilities:

Reception Desk Management:

Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor, creating a positive first impression.

Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide accurate information to patients and inquiries.

Maintain an organized and tidy reception area, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients.

Billing Expertise:

Handle billing processes accurately and efficiently, including invoice generation and payment processing.

Call Center Experience:

Utilize call center experience to handle incoming calls professionally and courteously.

Address patient inquiries, provide information about services, and assist with appointment scheduling.

Ensure a high standard of customer service in all phone interactions.

Administrative Support:

Assist with administrative tasks, such as patient data entry and maintaining electronic health records.

Coordinate with healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication.

Patient Relations:

Develop positive relationships with patients, demonstrating empathy and effective communication.

Handle patient complaints or concerns in a diplomatic and timely manner, escalating issues when necessary.

Qualifications:

B Com Graduate with minimum1 year Experienced Female

Proven experience as a Healthcare Receptionist with expertise in managing a busy reception desk.

Strong background in medical billing processes, insurance verification, and payment and accounts handling.

Call center experience with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.

Proficiency in using billing software and electronic health record systems.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Problem-solving skills to address billing discrepancies and patient inquiries.

Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kozhikode, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Front desk - Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
