Health & Safety Officer

We are looking for a candidate having experience in the domain of Health and Safety to ensure healthy and safe working environment for the employees of the organization:

• Experience : 5+ years in related field
• Location : Dadra
• Position : Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate Health and Safety Policies across multilocation plants and offices of the organization.
• Create a culture among employees to create healthy and safe work environment.
• Conduct regulatory audits at multiple locations of the organization and identify potential hazards.
• Give inputs during the process of preparing new factory layout from safety perspective. Make necessary changes in prevailing factory layout to avoid probability of accidents.
• Conduct training of employees as per their risk exposures to ensure safe working environment.
• Conduct workshops on emergency procedures, safety practices, dos, donts etc. in view of adherence to statutory requirements.
• Track industry trends on health and safety related practices and realign organization wide practices.
• Conduct risk assessment and prepare plans to mitigate it.
• Track near-miss incidences and make necessary changes to avoid accidents.
• Conduct detailed root cause analysis and formulate effective Corrective and Preventive actions in case of any mishap.
• Prepare formats and update health and safety documentation like Safety Manuals, Incident Reports etc.
• Compliance reporting and MIS preparation.
• Conduct continuous improvements in work environment to improve safety index.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Professional certifications like IOSH, NEBOSH, DGFASLI (Preferred).
