Health Safety Environment Supervisor

**Job Description:** As a Compliance professional, your role will involve maintaining an in-depth knowledge of local Health & Safety (HSE), Environment, and Dangerous Goods (DG) legislation, practices, and trends. You will be required to understand local business needs and translate this knowledge into actionable recommendations, tactics, and plans to ensure compliance with local regulations and WFS requirements. Your responsibilities will include monitoring HSE and DG performance, overseeing self-inspections conducted by Operations, and conducting independent audits and inspections. **Key Responsibilities:** - Maintain an in-depth knowledge of local HSE, Environment, and DG legislation - Translate knowledge into actionable recommendations and plans for compliance - Monitor HSE and DG performance - Oversee self-inspections and conduct independent audits - Develop, implement, and monitor Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with ICAO requirements - Collaborate with management to design and maintain an Emergency Action Plan - Lead incident and accident investigations and recommend corrective action plans - Coordinate the identification, design, and development of HSE and DG training programs - Serve as a subject matter expert for Dangerous Goods - Develop and maintain a professional network of contacts within WFS and external organizations - Cascade regulatory and operational information to frontline personnel for implementation **Qualifications Required:** - Strong knowledge of local HSE, Environment, and DG legislation - Experience in developing and implementing Safety Management Systems - Ability to lead incident and accident investigations - Proficiency in coordinating training programs tailored to business needs - Expertise in Dangerous Goods regulations and compliance - Excellent communication and networking skills (Note: Any additional details of the company were not provided in the job description),
