About Blood Warriors

Blood Warriors Foundation works to ensure no child with Thalassemia is left without blood or care. Through our Blood Bridge model, awareness campaigns, and prevention projects, we are striving for a Thalassemia-Free India. We are a registered NGO under Telangana Societies Registration Act., 2001 and our vision as an organization is to enable the community to be solid support for Thalassemia Patients by breaking all stigmas attached to Blood Donations and creating awareness of such a life-altering Blood Disorder. We have connected over 4700 donors to support over 100 Thalassemia patients in the last 5.5 years of our operations.

Your Role

Role Overview:

Bhadrachalam, Telangana

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate communities on Thalassemia causes, risks, and prevention.
• Provide counseling for carriers and couples identified through screening.
• Mobilize and support screening camps in villages.
• Build trust with local leaders and health workers.
• Maintain reports and coordinate with the Blood Warriors team in Hyderabad.

Requirements:

• Graduate in Social Work / Psychology / Nursing / Life Sciences.
• Fluency in Telugu; tribal dialect knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication & empathy skills.
• Prior NGO/community health experience is an advantage.
• Based in or willing to relocate to
