Role Overview We are looking for Health Counsellors who will serve as the first point of human connection for our patients. You will guide users through their healthcare journey helping them understand next steps, book consultations or lab tests, follow up on reports, and stay informed and reassured throughout the process. Role & responsibilities Engage with patients via app chat, phone, or video to understand their health needs. Assist patients in choosing the right doctor or service (consultation, lab, followup, etc.). Coordinate appointment scheduling, lab test bookings, and digital prescription tracking. Ensure smooth communication between patients, doctors, and labs. Maintain accurate patient journey records within the UzuHealth system. Provide empathetic guidance and reassurance ensuring patients feel cared for and understood. Handle patient queries about processes, pricing, and platform navigation. Escalate any medical or emergency issues to the appropriate department/hospital immediately. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in any stream (Preferred: Psychology, Nursing, Life Sciences, or Healthcare Management). Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Assamese. Prior experience in healthcare, counselling, customer care, or tele-assistance is an advantage. Tech-friendly and comfortable using mobile apps and CRM systems.
