Head Stores and Material Management

Role & responsibilities:-

• Man, Management for productivity as well as customers delight & Satisfaction either internal or external customers.
• Materials management for prevention of losses & Shrinkages.
• Information management on competitors activities & shrinkage management.
• Environment Management for Safe, Secure, friendly & Healthy environment to internal as well as external customers.
• Infrastructure management under the opex budget provided by the company.
• Team management to develop align team.
• Training & motivation of subordinate.
• Over all coordination of Stores activity.
• Monitoring & review Inbound, Out Bound, MIS & inventory.
• Discrepancy compliance, MNCR, Vendor stock reconciliation, Physical VS Book Stock.
• Monitoring scrap handling ,E auction of scrap, CNFA, Sale order, Sale invoice etc.
• Audit & Statutory compliance, overall responsibility of CHP outside, Mines Stores & Diesel pumps activity.
• MIS & Inventory review as per management requirement.
• Coordination DCPP, Angul for inventory sparing as required.
• Vigil on the productivity of man power on the basis of study of 3 years data & deployment of man force according to actual requirement on each & every section.
• Vigil on Physical count, preservation, Shelf life items, Materials rotation, Critical & consumable items Minimum & maximum stock, ensured FIFO, items code creation , study on duplicate code , book Vs physical ,materials & human safety .
• Handling of Coal weighbridge operation & ensured Quantities & on time GRN.
• Trying to paper less work & fully work on digital platform.
• Statutory compliance of conveyors, overhead tanks and other weighing equipment's Re-stamping by coordinating with WM department.
• Development of our warehouse which was as scrap mode.
• Trying to clean item master having 79 thousands active code but we have requirement only 30 thousands code.

Core / Technical Competencies :

• 20+ years experiences in the field of Supply chain, distribution, and Logistics, stores operation.
• Work in petroleum Business operation , distribution & logistics , Retail sector Business in distribution & logistics , Power sector , Automobile sectors , FMCG , F & B, Sourcing of materials etc.

Functional Competencies:

• Knowledge of Supply chain, Distribution & logistics management.
• Knowledge of operation, maintenance of our petroleum product & ensured materials Quantities & Quality .
• Purchasing of materials, Reverse engineering to avoid high cost from OEM.
• P & A job to ensure customers delight & satisfaction.
