Head - R & D (Icecream Products)

As a Head of R&D (Icecream Products) at our client, a leading FMCG Food brand in South India, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Research & Development (R&D) and New Product Development (NPD) department. Your role will be based in Kochi, Kerala. Key Responsibilities: - Head and supervise the R&D and NPD department. - Develop new products for various Ice cream flavors and Frozen Deserts. - Design Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all product variants required for R&D. - Enhance existing formulations for taste, nutrition, and shelf life improvements. - Collaborate effectively with production and quality teams. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field. - Possess strong analytical skills and expertise in Research & Development. - Experience in Team Management and Project Management. - Demonstrated skills in research and NPD. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. - Previous experience in the same line of products (Ice creams/Frozen desserts) is a must. - Preference will be given to candidates who have handled North Indian favorite flavored ice cream products.
