Job Description

The position in Supply Chain based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India at Lenovo requires a professional with expertise in Mobile/EMS manufacturing, particularly in SMT, BE & CFC Quality & process (PCBA & Assembly Process Quality). As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for managing the quality assurance team, ensuring adherence to quality control measures throughout the production process in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your role involves developing and implementing training programs for employees to enhance their understanding of quality standards and best practices. You will be expected to provide regular reports on the performance of the quality management system to top management and stakeholders. Addressing customer complaints, incorporating feedback into quality improvement initiatives, and working closely with customers to understand their quality expectations are crucial aspects of this role. Collaborating with other members of management, you will contribute to developing new product and engineering designs, manufacturing processes, and training methods. Monitoring and reporting on product and process quality, achieving financial objectives through quality assurance budget management, and identifying opportunities for process improvement to enhance product quality and efficiency are key responsibilities. You will lead investigations into quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. Qualification of new SMT lines, Assembly, and Packing lines as per product requirements, defining key quality metrics, monitoring performance, and driving necessary improvements are essential tasks. Additionally, you will be involved in monitoring incoming quality issues, driving improvements from Suppliers and ODMs, investigating line defects and customer complaints, and participating in WW review calls to drive improvements. Ensuring EHS & OHS Management compliance is a critical part of this role.
