Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • To deploy required resources in production, define - monitor overall performance parameters of utilization and drive productivity to meet organizational goal
  • Prepare systematic plans for loading in-house molding capacities and guide team for execution. Develop and deploy an effective equipment maintenance schedule to ensure the targeted equipment availability.
  • Participate, contribute and guide operations team positively to achieve goals set

1. Extend active support in Race to finish process of new product development

2. Participate positively and guide operations team to achieve customer promises

3. Lead teams for implementation of cost-effective Backward integration projects and equipment availability

4. Contribute and guide the existing young team to achieve organization readiness for the future. Lead various Innovative projects within operations and participate in cross functional innovations.

  • To administer the deployment of overall process management in manufacturing operations to deliver continual improvement in manufacturing performance. Ensure effective QMS, EMS, OHSAS, MID and Special process in plant
  • Ensure that the products are delivered with the highest quality standards.
  • To monitor adherence of laid down process in manufacturing to achieve OTIF, thereby enhancing customer confidence and satisfaction.
  • Deploy a effectively and fair team development program using the performance & talent management systems.
  • To support CSS for identifying changes required in manufacturing processes and deploy across to meet customer expectations.
  • Participate and contribute positively to the Operations Management team and contribute in continuous improvements of processes to deliver complete satisfaction to the SBUs
  • Develop team in operations to ensure quick response to changing market requirements
  • Monitor employee engagement and involvement to maintain cordial IR relations thus maintaining industrial peace and harmony in Plant.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Engineering Graduate (BE) with good exposure to manufacturing domain especially in PCBA, around 20 years of experience in Manufacturing in the organization of repute out of which he must have spent at-least 2-3 years as Head of the production specifically had an experience into people management.
  • Should be able to disseminate learning down the line and demonstrate significant improvement across
  • Knowledge of industrial engineering i.e. time motion study, efficiencies, line loading & balancing.
  • Analytical capabilities for problem solving
  • Should be aware of labor laws and should be able to resolve IR problems if any.
