Vedanta’s Sesa Goa Business caters to the requirements of the Iron & Steel supply chain. We produce Iron Ore, Pig Iron and Coke. It comprises of Iron Ore Goa, Iron Ore Karnataka, Iron Ore Odisha, Value Added Business, Sesa Cement and Sesa Coke - Gujarat & Maharashtra. The Sector has a unique competitive advantage of having operations in 5 States.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage policy advocacy initiatives at the state level and coordinate on matters concerning the central government.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, regulatory authorities & industry bodies to facilitate ease of doing business and support organizational growth.
  • Engage and coordinate with key bureaucratic, political, and civil stakeholders to advance company objectives.
  • Proactively monitor legislative developments, policy changes, and industry-specific updates to identify opportunities for business development.
  • Work closely with government authorities to secure incentives and benefits for investments aimed at growth and expansion.
  • Develop policy notes & keeping track of policy reforms
  • Regular interaction with Industry associations & various Govt Departments to facilitate ease of doing business
  • Represent the company in trade associations, industrial bodies, and relevant forums.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to develop and implement media advocacy strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Benchmarking of best practices with Peer group companies.


The Successful Candidate:


  • MBA / B.E/ B.Tech /LLB/LLM/ Graduation/Masters in Public Policy.
  • 12+ years of experience in Policy Advocacy/Corp. Affairs / Operations / Environment / Strategy or related domains.
  • Preference – candidates having prior experience in Corp. Affairs team and exposure to policy advocacy.
