Role & responsibilities Looking for A result-oriented mining professional responsible for managing end-to-end coal mining operations of a 7 MTPA mine , ensuring production targets, safety, environmental compliance, and stakeholder coordination. The role involves strategic planning, resource optimization, digital transformation, and liaison with statutory authorities and clients. Key Responsibilities: Lead overall mine operations to achieve annual coal production target of 7 MTPA Ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with mining laws and environmental regulations Coordinate with client stakeholders and business partners for smooth project execution Oversee equipment utilization, spare parts planning, and cost-effective inventory management Monitor and control operational costs; identify cost optimization opportunities Supervise mine planning, closure activities, and statutory approvals (EC, FC, CGWA, CTO) Manage infrastructure development and daily execution of mining activities Implement digital tools, automation, and innovative practices for operational improvement Draft contractual communications, handle invoicing, payments, and dispute resolution Lead safety initiatives including dust suppression and workforce protection Coordinate with consultants for technical studies, reports, and regulatory submissions Preferred candidate profile Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline 18–25 years of progressive experience in open-cast coal mining operations Strong knowledge of mining regulations, safety standards, and stakeholder management
