Head of Video

We’re looking for a dynamic and visionary Head of Video to lead our creative video production team at Kofuku. This role is ideal for someone who can conceptualize, shoot, edit, and direct impactful video content that captures the essence of our brand. Requirements:

• 5–7 years of proven experience in video production, editing, and creative direction.
• Strong proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Solid understanding of lighting, sound, camera handling, and motion graphics.
• Exceptional creative thinking, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
• Experience in leading and managing a creative team.
• Excellent sense of timing, humor, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of 30 days or less will be preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, plan, and execute high-quality video content for brand campaigns, social media, and digital platforms.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a creative team of videographers, editors, and motion designers.
• Manage end-to-end video production — from idea development to final delivery.
• Shoot and edit videos ensuring a strong visual narrative and premium production quality.
• Add motion graphics and visual effects to enhance viewer engagement.
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to align content with brand strategy.
• Maintain a consistent visual style and storytelling tone across all projects.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and production budgets effectively.
• Stay updated on video trends, tools, and formats to keep content fresh and innovative.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
