Job Description

1. Roles & Responsibilities

Lead academic planning and curriculum implementation (CBSE / NEP 2020 aligned)
Supervise teaching-learning processes and conduct classroom observations
Plan timetables, substitutions, exam schedules, and teacher allocations
Monitor student discipline, attendance, wellbeing, and performance
Conduct PTMs, orientations, and resolve parent concerns
Mentor, guide, and evaluate teachers through regular feedback and training
Coordinate with admin, HR, transport, events, exam cell, and management
Implement school policies, safety guidelines, and compliance processes
Oversee documentation, assessments, reports, and academic audits
Drive co-scholastic activities, assemblies, festivals, and school events
Support school branding, admissions, and stakeholder engagement
Present regular updates, reports, and improvement plans to leadership
Education:

B.Ed / M.Ed (mandatory)
Postgraduate degree in relevant subject (preferred)

Experience:

8 to 15 years in school education
At least 35 years in a leadership/coordination role

Skills:

Academic leadership & curriculum planning
Staff supervision and team management
Strong communication and parent handling
Strategic planning and decision-making
Knowledge of CBSE policies and NEP 2020
Student discipline and wellbeing management

Other Desirable Criteria:

Experience in CBSE/K–12 schools
Exposure to teacher training and audits
Ability to manage events and school operations
