Position Overview:

The Pre-IPO Sales Head will lead the business vertical focused on sourcing, structuring, and distributing Pre-IPO and unlisted equity opportunities to high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs), and family offices. The incumbent will drive strategic partnerships, oversee sales operations, and build a strong distribution network to position Equentis as a leading player in the pre-IPO investment space.

Broader Role / Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Pre-IPO and unlisted equity segment.
• Identify high-growth, pre-IPO opportunities and establish relationships with promoters, intermediaries, and investment bankers.
• Define revenue targets and lead the sales team to achieve aggressive growth metrics.
• Nurture high-growth, pre-IPO opportunities and establish relationships with promoters, intermediaries, and investment bankers

Sales & Distribution

• Build and manage a high-performing sales team dedicated to Pre-IPO and private market products.
• Create and manage a distribution network across wealth managers, IFAs, and institutional channels.
• Drive client acquisition and retention through consultative selling and relationship management.

Client Advisory & Relationship Management

• Engage with HNI and UHNI clients to present pre-IPO opportunities aligned with their investment goals.
• Provide end-to-end advisory support including due diligence, valuation insights, exit timelines, and liquidity options.
• Ensure seamless client experience and post-investment support.

Product Development & Research Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with the research and investment teams to identify and evaluate pre-IPO opportunities, while maintaining seamless coordination with senior leadership through regular reporting of sales trackers, updates, and key insights
• Contribute to structuring investment products and marketing collaterals for investor communication.
• Stay abreast of market developments, valuation trends, and SEBI regulations governing unlisted and private equity markets

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• Maintain transparency in communication and documentation with clients and partners.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred).
• 1015 years of experience in private wealth, investment banking, or private equity sales.
• Strong network of HNIs, UHNIs, and family offices.
• Demonstrated success in deal origination and execution in private market investments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
