Head of IRT (Intervention & Recovery Team)

As a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader at Battery Smart, you will be responsible for building and leading the specialized Intervention & Recovery Team (IRT) department. Your role will involve owning hard battery recoveries, setting up and scaling field operations, optimizing intervention strategies, and ensuring asset security across different geographies. Key Responsibilities: - Build the IRT department from scratch, including defining team structure, processes, and SOPs. - Design and implement efficient field recovery strategies for batteries associated with delinquent or inactive drivers. - Develop data-driven escalation models to enable timely interventions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Tech, Operations, and Legal to establish comprehensive recovery frameworks. - Establish performance metrics, targets, and reporting dashboards for field teams. - Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory norms, and operational standards during recovery operations. - Lead pilot programs, extract insights, and continually refine field playbooks. - Manage and mentor a high-performing recovery field force. - Focus on optimizing recovery costs while maximizing battery retrieval rates. Requirements: - Graduated from a Tier 1 college, MBA preferred. - Possess a consulting background with at least 5 years of experience at top firms, or have 7+ years of experience in Central Operations/Strategy roles at rapidly growing organizations like Ola, Udaan, Zomato, etc. - Strong first-principles thinking and operational problem-solving capabilities. - Hands-on experience in setting up new operations functions or managing high-intensity ground teams. - Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and leadership. - Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and familiarity with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and basic SQL. - Ability to excel in an unstructured, high-growth, high-accountability environment.,
