Head of Fab EHS

You are applying for the position of Head of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) at Tata Electronics Private Limited, a greenfield venture of the Tata Group specializing in manufacturing precision components and building India's first AI-enabled Semiconductor Foundry in Dholera, Gujarat. **Role Overview:** As the Head of Fab EHS, your primary responsibility will be to oversee all EHS programs at the semiconductor fabrication facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe work environment, managing risks associated with chip manufacturing, and fostering a proactive safety culture. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and manage site-specific Fab EHS programs - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as industry standards like SEMI S2/S8 and ISO 14001/45001 - Conduct risk assessments, lead incident investigations, oversee emergency response, and provide EHS training - Act as the main contact for regulatory agencies, analyze EHS data for continuous improvement, and lead the site EHS team - Drive initiatives to improve the safety culture and ensure adherence to safety protocols in the factory **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Occupational Health and Safety required, advanced degree preferred - Minimum of 15 years of progressive EHS leadership experience, with significant experience in high-volume manufacturing wafer fabrication plant - Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM highly valued - In-depth knowledge of semiconductor EHS regulations and standards, proficiency in EHS software, strong communication, crisis management, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team If you are passionate about ensuring a safe work environment, managing EHS programs, and driving a strong safety culture, this role at Tata Electronics in Dholera, Gujarat could be the perfect fit for you.,
