Head of Events

Role Overview: As the Head of Events at TexValley, you will lead the planning, execution, and management of all events to enhance customer experience and boost tenant sales. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a strategic 1-year event calendar, encompassing large-scale festivals, seasonal promotions, and community engagements. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Event Planning: - Develop a 12-month event calendar aligned with mall objectives and brand partnerships. - Identify opportunities for themed events such as Christmas Carnival, Summer Fest, and Food Festivals. - Plan B2B events like pop-up expos and brand launches to attract new retailers and customers. - Execution & Operations: - Oversee end-to-end event management, including logistics, vendor coordination, and marketing. - Collaborate with mall teams for seamless execution and measure event success in terms of ROI. - Partnerships & Sponsorships: - Build relationships with brands, sponsors, and agencies for co-funded events. - Work with tenants to create in-mall activations that boost sales. - Innovation & Trends: - Stay updated on retail trends, experiential marketing, and introduce unique event concepts. - Implement digital integrations like AR/VR and social media challenges. - Budget & Reporting: - Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and track success through KPIs. - Provide post-event reports to evaluate event impact. Qualification Required: - Experience: 5+ years in event management, preferably in retail or malls. - Skills: Strong leadership, creativity, budgeting, and multitasking abilities. - Strategic Thinker: Ability to plan long-term while adapting to trends. - Networking: Strong connections with entertainers, brands, and agencies. - Education: Degree in Marketing, Event Management, or related field.
