About the Role:

Engineering Head - Full Stack

As a Engineering Head, you will lead by example in designing, developing, and deploying scalable systems, while mentoring a team of engineers and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack applications
• Architect backend services using

  Python with FastAPI

  and integrate them with modern frontend built in

  React + Tailwind CSS

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers; perform code reviews and ensure best practices
• Own technical decisions, enforce coding standards, and drive engineering excellence
• Manage task estimations, sprint planning, and project delivery timelines
• Ensure CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment pipelines are efficient and robust
• Monitor system performance, address production issues, and plan for scalability
• Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement in a remote-first environment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8-10 years

  of professional full stack development experience
• Advanced knowledge of

  Python

  , with at least 4

  years

  working in

  FastAPI

  (or similar async frameworks)
• Strong frontend experience with

  React.js

  and

  Tailwind CSS

• Proficient in

  SQL

  and relational databases such as

  PostgreSQL

  or

  MySQL

• Experience leading teams or projects, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and system design
• Solid experience with

  Docker

  ,

  Git

  , and CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with backend architecture patterns and frontend state management
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills
• Good knowledge of public clouds like

  AWS

  ,

  GCP

  , or

  Azure

Nice to Have:

• Background in microservices architecture or monorepo structures
• Knowledge of security best practices, background task processing (Celery, Redis), and API authentication (OAuth2, JWT)
• Experience in compliance, DevSecOps, or cybersecurity products is a plus
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, GraphQL, or WebSocket integrations
