As the Head of Engineering at a dynamic AI-driven company in Mumbai, you will lead a team of skilled web developers to deliver high-quality end-to-end solutions using an agile approach. Your role involves understanding the flagship products Trinka and RAx, collaborating with various technical roles, and ensuring the product's flexibility and adherence to best engineering practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead a team of talented web developers in delivering high-quality solutions - Understand the products Trinka and RAx thoroughly - Work closely with the Director Engineer, Technical Project Manager, Solution Architect, Principal Engineers, and Senior DevOps - Review solution architecture and approach to ensure best practices are followed - Evaluate and maintain the performance of technical team members - Design and conduct code review processes - Optimize, update, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS - Collaborate with Research Engineering leads for cross-end scalability - Oversee the hiring process to build a strong tech team **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of enterprise backend or full-stack web development experience - Proficiency in VueJS/AngularJS, NodeJS/Java/Python Django/FastAPI with AWS Serverless - 10+ years of solution architecture experience - 6+ years of engineering management experience - Strong understanding of backend technologies, databases, container orchestration, and CI/CD - Experience with AWS technologies like Lambda functions, SQS, RDS, DynamoDB - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, CSS frameworks, and developer tooling - Focus on testing, monitoring, and observability - Experience in profiling, impact analysis, and Root Cause Analysis - Knowledge of Elasticsearch server cluster optimization and Apache Spark/Ray is an added advantage You will play a crucial role in revolutionizing research-intensive projects by leading a team of passionate individuals and driving impactful solutions.
