Head of Building Design - Architecture

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural design projects from concept to completion, ensuring delivery of innovative, functional, and high-quality design solutions within stipulated timelines.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsincluding structural, MEP, and interior design teamsto develop comprehensive and coordinated design solutions for complex building projects.
  
• Prepare and review Detailed Project Reports (DPR), master plans, and construction drawings for new developments, including commercial, industrial, and data center facilities.
  
• Oversee the full lifecycle of building projects—from conceptualization and design development to execution and completion—ensuring efficient resource management and adherence to project deadlines.
  
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, local development regulations, and relevant national and international standards (including NBC and other statutory requirements).
  
• Liaise effectively with international architects, consultants, and local authorities for approvals, clearances, and coordination during various project stages.
  
• Contribute to business development initiatives by supporting proposals, presentations, and client interactions.
  
• Promote and maintain best practices in BIM coordination, digital design processes, and sustainable architecture.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience:

  10–15 years of professional experience in architecture, with strong exposure to architectural design, BIM coordination, DPR preparation, master planning, urban and infrastructure planning.

• Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution; Master’s degree (M.Arch) preferred.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in

  Autodesk Revit Architecture

  & ISO 19650 process is essential
• Working knowledge o fAutodesk Revit and other architectural visualization tools is an advantage.
  

• Domain Expertise:

• Hands-on experience with

  commercial

  ,

  industrial

  , and

  data center

  building projects.
• Strong familiarity with

  Indian building codes and standards (NBC)

  and local development regulations.
• Proven ability to coordinate and liaise with

  international architects

  and multidisciplinary teams.

• Other Requirements:

• Must be a

  Registered Architect

  with the

  Council of Architecture (CoA), India

  .
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  
• Ability to lead design teams and handle multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
