As the Head of Accounts at Artha Group, you will oversee the financial architecture across private limited and LLP entities, encompassing bookkeeping, taxation, reporting, treasury, and end-to-end audit ownership. This senior role requires a Chartered Accountant with a strategic vision, disciplined systems management, and proactive risk mitigation. Your responsibilities will include managing the accounting lifecycle for multiple entities, ensuring timely closure of ledgers and reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and generating insightful MIS reports on a monthly and quarterly basis. You will also be responsible for taxation compliance, statutory coordination, and audit ownership across all entities within the organization. In addition, you will strategically manage treasury and liquidity, build and lead a high-performing finance team, institutionalize financial controls, and maintain seamless communication with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders to uphold financial integrity and compliance. The ideal candidate for this position is a qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 10 years of experience in accounting and finance leadership, preferably within VC/PE funds or high-governance organizations. You should have a strong command over Indian tax laws, meticulous attention to detail, structured communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining financial discipline. The compensation package for this role includes a total annual compensation of 37,50,000 per annum, comprising an annual fixed salary of 32,00,000, an annual retention bonus of 3,00,000, and an ESOP grant of 2,50,000 as per the vesting policy.
