Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Accounts located in Mysore. The role involves managing and overseeing all accounting and financial functions of the organization with a strong focus on the travel industry. The Head of Accounts will be responsible for IATA BSP accounting, airline & GDS reconciliations, revenue recognition, corporate billing, supplier/vendor payments, compliance, and cash flow management. The position requires close coordination with operations, sales, and management teams to ensure accurate financial control, profitability, and statutory compliance across all divisions of the company. Key Responsibilities Oversee IATA BSP settlements , reconcile tickets, refunds, and ADM/ACM. Manage airline, GDS, and consolidator reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Handle revenue and commission accounting across ticketing, transport, and holidays. Supervise corporate and client billing , receivables, and credit control. Manage supplier and vendor payments , ensuring timely reconciliation. Ensure tax compliance – GST, TDS, TCS, and other statutory filings. Prepare financial statements, MIS, and budgeting reports for management. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and forex transactions . Lead and mentor the accounts team across multiple branches. Qualifications Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Travel Industry Reconciliations Strong understanding of IATA BSP, GDS systems, and airline accounting Excellent analytical, leadership, and management skills Knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, and statutory compliance Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting ( CA/CPA/CFA preferred ) 15+ years of experience in accounts/finance, with at least 3 years in the travel industry
