Head MS&T Large Molecules & Injectables

Role Overview: Sandoz is undergoing an exciting phase as a global leader in providing sustainable Biosimilar and Generic medicines. As the organization progresses on a new and ambitious path, you have the opportunity to lead the Large Molecules & Injectables platforms MS&T organization. Your role involves maintaining and enhancing scientific oversight of manufacturing processes, technical changes, and ensuring product stewardship across process units and functions at the platform. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Global MS&T head, Large Molecules & Injectables platform QA head, site heads, and site MS&T heads for all MS&T related topics. - Set objectives and develop a vision for the MS&T organization of the Large Molecules & Injectables platform. - Establish and maintain MS&T organizational capability and governance processes to ensure products and technologies adhere to validation and current technology standards. - Drive the implementation of the blueprint MS&T organization across the Large Molecules & Injectables platform. - Assess MS&T capabilities within the platform/cluster and manage the talent pipeline through career path, succession planning, and training programs. - Guide teams in maintaining state-of-the-art manufacturing lines with necessary process controls to ensure product validation. - Foster a culture of quality and compliance across the MS&T organization. - Collaborate with other MS&T platform heads, councils, and networks to drive the reapplication of standard work processes and best practices. - Define and implement standards for MS&T and ensure overall inspection readiness for the area of responsibility. Qualifications Required: - Education: Post Graduate in Pharmacy/Biology/Chemistry/Relevant Life Sciences/ Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology (preferred) - Languages: Fluent in English & Languages in the Region - Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing with additional specialist experience preferred. Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and pharmaceutical analytical testing.
