Job Profile: Lead / Manager / AGM – Moulding Department

Company: Leading Global Indian Manufacturing Group (Revenue: ₹4000+ Cr)
Location: Kolhapur, Maharashtra
Industry: Steel Casting, Rotating Equipment, Heavy Machinery
Department: Moulding / Foundry Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage moulding operations in the steel casting foundry.
• Ensure quality, productivity, and safety standards are met for all moulding processes.
• Develop and implement process improvements to optimize cycle times, reduce scrap, and enhance yield.
• Coordinate with Pattern Shop, Core Shop, and Melting Departments for seamless production.
• Mentor and guide a team of supervisors and technicians, ensuring skill development.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing / TPM / 5S initiatives within the moulding department.
• Work closely with Planning, Engineering, and QA/QC teams to meet delivery schedules.

Candidate Profile

• Education: BE / BTech / MTech in Metallurgy, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
• Experience: 15–20 years in steel casting foundry, with strong expertise in moulding operations.
• Industry Exposure: Heavy machinery, rotating equipment, industrial steel castings preferred.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong technical knowledge of sand moulding, shell moulding, or precision casting processes.
• People management and team leadership experience.
• Familiarity with quality standards like IS, ASTM, or internal corporate standards.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and maintain high safety standards.
• Location Preference: Must be willing to work in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
