Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Merchandising & Product Planning:

Develop and execute
merchandising strategies
aligned with sales targets and brand positioning
Plan
assortment mix
for gold, diamond, platinum, and silver jewellery across stores
Manage
category-wise performance
and optimize product mix based on sales trends
Plan seasonal, festive, and regional collections

Inventory & Stock Management:

Monitor
stock levels, ageing, and slow-moving inventory
Ensure optimal
inventory turnover and replenishment planning
Coordinate with inventory audit and operations teams for stock accuracy
Manage inter-store stock transfers and liquidation strategies

Design & Procurement Coordination:

Work closely with
design teams
on new collections and trend development
Coordinate with
procurement / manufacturing teams
for timely sourcing
Ensure cost control, margin targets, and pricing alignment

Sales & Retail Support:

Support showroom teams with
product training and display guidelines
Analyze sales data and provide
actionable insights
to improve performance
Drive promotions, launches, and visual merchandising effectiveness

Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare
merchandising MIS, forecasts, and performance reports
Track KPIs such as sell-through, margins, inventory ageing, and stock turns

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate / MBA in Marketing / Retail / Fashion Merchandising
1015 years of experience in
jewellery merchandising
Strong understanding of
gold & diamond jewellery categories
Experience in multi-store retail operations
Strong analytical, planning, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP system
