Head - Market Operations

You will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of all operational activities of various segments offered by the Exchange. This includes coordinating Beginning of Day (BOD), Intraday, and End of Day (EOD) operations with other Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs). You will need to identify system enhancements and automation aligned with regulatory requirements, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Mocks, and ensure successful implementation. Additionally, you will lead transformation initiatives for software development and system enhancements, collaborating with technology, regulatory, and other functional teams. Your role will involve activating CTCL and Algo IDs as per regulatory norms, participating in SEBI's policy formulating initiatives, engaging with stakeholders like auditors and inspections, and maintaining the Disaster Recovery (DR) site as per regulatory requirements. Managing a team responsible for daily operations across various segments offered by the Exchange and handling tasks such as Index Management, MIS, and Data Analytics will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - In-depth knowledge of the Indian Securities market value chain, market infrastructure institutions (MIIs), and Exchange activities. - Understanding of SEBI regulations, circulars, and their impact on operations. - Active participation in SEBI's regulatory policy formulating initiatives. - Contribution to system enhancement and automation efforts. - Leadership of a large team to manage process-driven activities within defined SLAs. - Handling exceptional situations, crisis scenarios, and ensuring business continuity. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Experience with MIIs or SEBI registered intermediaries is advantageous. Qualification Required: - CA/MBA Finance with Capital Market Knowledge and Experience in Data Analysis. Additional Details: - Knowledge of statutory requirements applicable to financial markets. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with hands-on experience in Macros is an added advantage. - Soft skills such as high adaptability, system understanding, presentability, and good communication skills are essential.,
