Role Overview: As a Head of Market Operations at the Mumbai office located in Piramal Agastya Corporate Park (Kurla), your role will involve overseeing and managing all operational activities related to various segments offered by the Exchange. With your extensive experience of 18+ years and qualification as a CA/MBA, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of operations in coordination with other Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs). Key Responsibilities: - Ensure smooth functioning of all operational activities, including Beginning of Day (BOD), Intraday, and End of Day (EOD) operations. - Identify system enhancements and automation opportunities aligning with regulatory requirements, and oversee smooth implementation post conducting UAT and Mocks. - Lead transformation initiatives for software development and system enhancement, collaborating actively with technology, regulatory, and other functional teams. - Activate CTCL and Algo IDs as per regulatory norms, and participate in policy formulating initiatives of SEBI. - Engage with stakeholders such as auditors and inspections, and ensure maintenance of Disaster Recovery (DR) site as per regulatory requirements. - Manage a team handling daily operations for various segments offered by the Exchange, including Index Management, MIS, and Data Analytics. Qualifications Required: - In-depth knowledge of the Indian Securities market value chain, market infrastructure institutions (MIIs), and Exchange activities. - Understanding of the regulatory framework, including SEBI regulations and circulars, and ability to contribute to regulatory policy formulating initiatives. - Experience in leading a large and diverse team to manage process-driven activities within defined SLAs. - Proficiency in handling exceptional situations, crisis scenarios, and ensuring business continuity of operational functions. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with high adaptability and system understanding. - Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including hands-on experience with Macros, is an added advantage.
