JOB DESCRIPTION HEAD OF HR & ADMINISTRATION
KLR Industries Ltd.Location: HyderabadExperience: 10-15 yearsReporting To: CEODepartment: Human Resources & AdministrationSalary Range- 10-15 Lacs Per AnnumPosition OverviewKLR Industries is seeking a seasoned, forward-thinking, and people-centric HR leader to head the Human Resources & Administration function. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep functional expertise, and hands-on experience in managing HR in a manufacturing / engineering / steel forging environment, with solid understanding of labour laws and factory compliance.The role demands a mature leader who can strategically shape the HR function, drive organizational culture, strengthen talent, streamline processes, and ensure compliancewhile also leading a robust admin function across facilities, safety, housekeeping, and asset management.Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & Leadership Provide strategic leadership and direction to the HR function. Build and mentor a high-performing HR team. Strengthen Talent Acquisition, Career Development, Retention, PMS, and Succession Planning. Lead HR cost optimization initiatives.2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning¢ Drive manpower planning.¢ Oversee timely recruitment for staff, workmen, and leadership roles.¢ Ensure effective onboarding and induction processes.3. Performance Management & Leadership Development¢ Drive PMS cycle including KRAs, mid-year and annual reviews.¢ Lead leadership development and structured training programs.¢ Implement clear career paths and succession plans.4. Compensation, Payroll & Benefits¢ Ensure accurate monthly payroll for staff and contract labour.¢ Liaise with Finance for salary disbursements.¢ Handle bonuses, incentives, overtime, and statutory deductions.¢ Respond to employee queries related to earnings, taxes, PF, ESI, etc.5. Employee Relations, Engagement & Welfare¢ Resolve grievances professionally and promptly.¢ Build a positive employee relations climate.¢ Conduct regular engagement activities, 360 feedback, and recognition programs.¢ Strengthen welfare initiatives.6. HR Policies, Systems & Compliance¢ Develop and implement HR policies and SOPs.¢ Ensure adherence to Factories Act, Industrial Relations Act, CLRA, and all labour laws.¢ Handle statutory audits, inspections, and government liaison.¢ Submit monthly HR MIS and analytics to leadership.7. Administration, Facilities & Safety¢ Lead housekeeping, security, stationery, and asset management.¢ Oversee facility maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, civil works).¢ Manage fire safety, mock drills, and first-aid readiness.¢ Ensure space planning and office infrastructure upkeep.¢ Manage internal and external HR events.Skills & Competencies¢ Strong leadership and people management skills.¢ Excellent communication and conflict resolution.¢ High emotional intelligence and empathy.¢ Deep understanding of HR processes and IR.¢ Strong planning, organization, and execution skills.¢ High integrity, discipline, and professionalism.Qualifications¢ Bachelors degree required.¢ MBA/MA/MS in HR preferred.¢ 1015 years of HR leadership experience in manufacturing/heavy engineering.¢ Thorough knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, and factory regulations.
