The Accounts and Finance Head will be responsible for managing the financial health of the school chain, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, budgeting, financial reporting, and efficient financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in educational finance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee the preparation and management of budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow statements. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for all school branches. Monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and implement cost-control measures. Manage payroll processing, vendor payments, and fee collection systems. Handle taxation, audits, and compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, PF, etc.). Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks). Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and financial discrepancies. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Ensure adherence to accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS) and internal controls. Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely submission of required documents. Ensure compliance with school policies, government regulations, and financial best practices. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as needed. Fee Management & Billing: Oversee student fee structures, invoicing, and collections. Manage scholarship programs, discounts, and financial aid disbursements. Resolve fee-related queries from parents and stakeholders. Team Leadership & Coordination: Supervise and mentor the accounts team across multiple school branches. Collaborate with school administrators, HR, and procurement teams for financial planning. Implement digital payment solutions and financial automation for efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: Education: CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) or Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance. Experience: 15+ years in accounting/finance, preferably in the education sector or a multi-branch organization. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial modeling. Soft Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with education sector financial regulations.
