Opportunity to lead end-to-end Distillery Operations for a large scale facility Opportunity to work and lead a large scale greenfield Distillery project About Our Client Our client is a large scale Indian Conglomerate with diversified business units and touchpoints across the country. Client is expanding their presence in Distillery domain and setting up new greenfield project. Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Distillery Site Head to lead the operations of our high-capacity distillery plant (200+ KLPD) in North India. This is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the entire plant operations - from production and maintenance to compliance and profitability. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in distillery operations, government liaisons, tendering processes, and cross-functional team leadership. Lead and manage all aspects of daily plant operations ensuring uninterrupted, safe, and compliant distillery production. Achieve production targets in line with quality and environmental standards. Monitor key operational parameters and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime and ensure high OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) Lead technical evaluation and coordination for all major capex and opex tenders related to plant machinery, utilities, and services. Represent the company in all interactions with local and state government bodies including Excise, Pollution Control Board, and Factory Inspectorate Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules in coordination with Mechanical and Instrumentation Heads. The Successful Applicant Education: B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical, Chemical, or related); MBA is a plus. Experience: 20+ years in distillery/ethanol/chemical plant operations, with at least 8+ years in a plant head or senior leadership role. Proven experience in managing large distillery units (preferably 200+ KLPD capacity). Strong knowledge of distillery technology (molasses/grain-based), utilities, and control systems. Hands-on experience in managing government liaisons and statutory compliance. Sound understanding of tendering, project execution, and vendor management. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
