Job Description

As the Head of Digital Marketing / Social Media, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the organization's digital presence across various social media platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - **Strategic Leadership:** - Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy in alignment with the organizational vision and communication objectives. - Drive brand visibility, engagement, and sentiment management across all social media platforms. - Lead digital campaigns to support various initiatives such as admissions, events, placements, research visibility, and thought leadership. - **Content & Creative Direction:** - Oversee the creation of high-quality content including videos, reels, stories, testimonials, faculty highlights, and research campaigns. - Build a robust digital storytelling pipeline to showcase achievements, initiatives, and brand narratives. - Collaborate with influencers, alumni, industry experts, and media partners. - **Community Engagement & Reputation Management:** - Monitor social conversations, engage with the audience, and handle online crises and negative feedback with maturity. - Develop organic and paid strategies to increase followers, views, and brand affinity. - **Data, Analytics & Performance Measurement:** - Utilize analytics to make data-driven decisions, track key metrics, and ensure campaign effectiveness. - Monitor CPC, CPL, and CRO in real-time to optimize lead quality and reduce costs. - Provide monthly performance reports and optimize website structure and ad campaigns for improved performance. - **Team & Process Management:** - Lead a cross-functional team of social media managers, designers, videographers, and content writers. - Establish workflows, publishing calendars, and brand guidelines. - Collaborate with different departments like Admissions, HR, Academics, and Corporate Communications. Qualification Required: - Masters degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or equivalent preferred. Required Skills & Competencies: - 10-15 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media Strategy, Brand Management, or related fields. - Proven track record in leading social media operations for universities, corporations, or brands. - Expertise in campaign management, digital analytics, SEO/SEM, and performance marketing. - Strong understanding of brand management, PR, and digital crisis communication. - Excellent storytelling, copywriting, and public engagement skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and lead a creative team effectively. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Growth in followers and engagement. - Enhanced brand sentiment and digital reputation. - Campaign ROI and cost-efficiency. - Quality and consistency of content. - Response time and crisis handling effectiveness. - Internal stakeholder satisfaction.,
