As the Head of Corporate Relations, your role involves overseeing various initiatives aimed at establishing and strengthening partnerships with businesses and organizations. You will play a crucial role in enhancing internship opportunities, industry-sponsored projects, technical consultancy works, MoU signings, student placements, HR meets, student counseling, and employability training programs. Your responsibilities include: - Corporate Outreach: - Establish and maintain relationships with businesses and organizations in relevant industries. - Develop outreach strategies to engage potential corporate partners, highlighting the institution's strengths. - Internship Opportunities: - Collaborate with corporate partners to create and manage internship programs for students. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internships, gathering feedback to enhance the program. - Industry Sponsored Projects: - Facilitate partnerships for industry-sponsored projects, providing students with real-world experience. - Identify project opportunities aligning with academic programs in coordination with faculty and industry representatives. - Technical Consultancy Works: - Explore avenues for providing technical consultancy services to industries through faculty expertise. - Develop a model for consultancy engagements, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships. - MoU Signing with Industries: - Lead negotiations and discussions to finalize MoUs with corporate partners. - Ensure efficient execution and monitoring of signed MoUs for effective collaboration. - Placement of Students with Higher Packages: - Drive initiatives to enhance placement opportunities with competitive salary packages for students. - Collaborate with the career services team to identify high-growth sectors and tailor training programs accordingly. - HR Meet: - Organize meetings and networking events with HR representatives to discuss recruitment needs and industry insights. - Foster dialogue between corporate partners and academic departments for curriculum and talent development. - Student Counseling: - Provide individual and group counseling sessions to guide students on career options and job requirements. - Assist in resume building, cover letters, interview preparation, and ongoing progress tracking. - Employability Training Programs: - Design and oversee training programs focusing on soft and technical skills improvement. - Collaborate with industry professionals to ensure training content meets current market demands. - Conduct workshops and seminars covering communication, teamwork, problem-solving, technical skills, and leadership.
