We are opening a Boutique Limited Seating restaurant in Udaipur with panoramic views of Lake Pichola and the Aravalli mountains. Our concept blends local freshness with global flavours, creating a fine-dining experience in an intimate setting.

Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and passionate Chef (Head Chef / Sous Chef / Culinary Expert) to lead the kitchen setup, menu design, and daily operations. This is an opportunity to be part of a new restaurant from the ground up and shape its identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute a seasonal menu blending Indian and global cuisines.
• Manage all aspects of the kitchen pre-opening setup (purchasing, suppliers, hygiene standards).
• Oversee food preparation, plating, and consistency at fine-dining standards.
• Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and FSSAI compliance.
• Control costs, manage inventory, and source ingredients from local vendors.
• Train and supervise a small kitchen team.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience as Chef / Sous Chef / CDP in fine dining, boutique restaurants, or luxury hotels.
• Strong knowledge of multi-cuisine (Indian + Continental/Global) cooking.
• Ability to create and innovate menus for a small premium restaurant.
• Passion for presentation, taste, and guest satisfaction.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Culinary degree/diploma preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
